Otello NeroDiLambrusco 1813 is ready to take to the skies! Cantine Ceci and Alitalia have signed an agreement making Cantine Ceci Lambrusco the only Lambrusco available in the Italian airline’s international business class. With the signing of the agreement, Cantine Ceci has become Alitalia’s official Lambrusco.

On June 1, 2016, Otello — named after the winery’s founder, Otello Ceci — fastened his seatbelt and took off together with Italy’s national airline. The wine will help to brighten passengers’ trips as they relax and taste a little bit of Emilia among the clouds.

“This is an important milestone for us,” say the winery owners, “not only is a source of immense pride for us but it will also give luxury travelers from all over the world the chance to taste this peerless and multi-award-winning wine.”
